Twitter just got a little full

twitter is over capacity

twitter is over capacity

Having recently updated our Twitter page this morning, I went back on it again just before lunch and there was an interesting surge of online twitters, twittering away on the site.

I wonder why the overload?
Mind you it is half term break and unless that was an online attack or just that time during the week that caused this interesting screen to appear. At least this is better than a 404 or 500 web page warning which means nothing to most online users.

Interesting, this page appeared – see screen shot below:

We will be at Donnington Park, Leicestershire over the weekend helping to raise funds for NSPCC at the British Touring Car Championships.

Come rain or shine, we will be out doing our little bit for charity.

Just like one of the big brands say “Every Little Helps”. :)

Glamourous Fluid Design

Clothing Range Website: House of Dereon

Clothing Range Website: House of Dereon

I was reading an online newspaper the other day and I came across a website that I thought I would visit.  Straight away when the website loaded up it just said WOW, this will be good”. At home, I don’t have a particular fast Internet connection so I was immediately drawn in within a couple of seconds.

The interactive website had important features to make a very plain website work, but work well, especially as it is designed and built in Flash:

  • fast website load up times
  • subtle yet powerful music
  • simple design
  • clear navigational instructions
  • precise, clear, sharp photography
  • quick eye catching transitions
  • superb product range
  • great web colours
  • uses space as a friend, rather than foe
