Team Ice Skating

Lets Skate For Me!
Saturday saw the team head off to celebrate my birthday. Well I thought since they saw fit to decorate the whole office with embarrassing photos, I should get my own back by taking them ice skating. Since none of us could skate it was going to be a challenge.
The day started with me flat on my back, yes 5 minutes in and I took out half the ice rink – I did warn everyone I have no sense of balance. Mike started to get the hang of it just as Raj & Annette started their version of ‘Dancing on Ice’ – they said they couldn’t skate, I suspect this wasn’t quite true!! All we can say is we had loads of fun, are all covered in bruises but really has a good time.

To warm up from the -1°C we headed off to the Bavarian market for glasses of gluwein, German sausages and lots of hot chestnuts and doughnuts.
