Young local web company wins Regional Chamber of Commerce Award

Michael Associates Ltd wins Regional Chamber of Commerce Awards 2007.
Leicester, UK. 10 December 2007

Michael Associates Ltd has recently been announced as the regional winner of the Microsoft Award for Impact of Technology on their Business in the East Midlands for the Chamber Awards 2007.

Michael Cheung, Creative Director of Michael Associates Ltd said, “It’s been great to receive this award and it means a lot to the team at Michael Associates to be recognised by the Chamber in this way. I have to admit we were a little surprised at our win, we use Instant Messaging Systems for the team to keep in touch as we often work remotely, as well as utilising them with clients to assist communication during the completion of projects. But as they say the simplest ideas are often the best and the impact IMS has had on our internal and external communications has been colossal.”

The regional awards success saw Michael Associates Ltd go through to next judging stage where the National Winners of the Chamber Awards 2007 were announced at a Gala Dinner at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London on the 29th November 2007 by presenters George Alagiah and Helene Hunt.
Although the team had a fantastic evening at the National Awards, regrettably Michael Associates lost out on the National Award this year, ....but watch this space in 2008 with their new digital publishing services.
